Bullying is a very negative action and creates major problems in our society. Nothing nice ever comes out of push arounding someone. It can however change someones life forever. It actually does ruin many lives both of the bully and of the victim. The bully if caught and punished will then have a criminal record for the rest of their life. Unless they get psychological help, they will probably end up be a repeat offender. The victim often becomes depressed, withdrawn and often times either commits suicide or becomes a bully themselves. Bullying is more than simply a part of growing up. It is a very violent form of aggressive behavior. Anti-bullying Laws will never completely solve the problem only sham it temporarily until bothone starts working together to midriff the root of this cruel behavior. Adults go that this behavior is wrong but many time dont know when or if they should step in and do something. The important thing to remember when deciding to step in is how the adult feels about taking control of the touch versus how the victim might feel about having a parent or elder stick up for them. Sometimes the victim feels that elder involvement whitethorn make the situation even worse. They often feel the only way to solve the problem is to handle it themselves. Anti-bullying laws are being enacted in almost every state in the U.S. However, they are not being enforced and are nowhere near strong enough to identify and make the abuser stop or continue to repeat his/her actions again on someone else or even sometime the same victim they began with. Only 44 of our 50 states presently have anti-bullying laws in place. Ohio does have a law in place and is found in the Ohio Revised Code, section 3313.666. In one of the journals I was researching on this topic it stated that this type of behavior stems from many different things, life at home, poverty, depression. And that fish filet those symptoms at a young age will help prevent these troubled kids from doing these acts. Of course you do not see these bad of events going on in the younger schools but when they start young like in elementary school what they think and do only gets worst with age. Thats why I wrote this paper in order to open not only the eyes of parents but as well as anyone that is ever around kids at all. And also to not only help the victims but also the offenders, its not always their fault. And lastly to stand up for a good generate such as this and help pass the laws against bullying to not only prevent it but in hopes of stopping it all together.

For my interview, I interviewed Tiffany Sanders, from the Johnston County Adult Probation word office located in Smithfield NC. sooner my interview I came up with ten questions to ask Mrs. Sanders during our interview. After my interview with Mrs. Sanders, I have come to the conclusion that I would love to be a probation or intelligence officer.One question I asked Mrs. Sanders was what are the job functions of a parole officer? Based on Mrs. Sanders comments, Parole officers are given a caseload of people on parole in which she is required to supervise and guide them through their period of release into the community. A parole officer is also responsible for investigating paroles that violate the rules and testify at court keyings when paroles violate their parole.Another question that I asked Mrs. Sanders was what are the pros and cons to being a parole officer? Mrs. Sanders replied to this question with, I love my job as a parole officer. Every day I come into this officer wit h my give birth special goal to help someone get on the remediate track and turn their life around. So to answer the questions, some pros to being a parole officer is that you get to enjoy helping others but that could also be your con to a parole officer job. If you enjoy helping others it may be hard for you to cope with failure when you have a parole that refuses to do better. Another con to being a parole officer is the event that you get benefits and the job is always in high demand due to the number of offenders.As I left the office of Mrs. Sanders I could still hear her recommendations to me if I wanted to be a parole officer. Mrs. Sanders recommended that if I wanted to be a parole officer then to make sure that I was dedicated and committed to the job. She feels that being a parole officer can be quit discouraging when you see someone fail that you have try so hard torehabilitate. It is always best to not get emotionally involved with your job and to follow all guideli nes and rules to keep from doing so.I really enjoyed this weeks assignment because I have always had an interest in being a probation or parole officer. After my interview with Mrs. Sanders I directly know that this would be the perfect job for me because I love to help people and I feel that criminals can change their ways with support and the right guidance.

Deep stain Thrombosis (DVT) Overview Deep Vein Thrombosis, also known as DVT is a preventable circulatory disorder which occurs when a blood clot is formed in a deep nervure, they usually develop in the lower leg, thigh, or pelvis, but can also occur in the arms. DVT can cause pain and prominence and can lead to complications such as a pulmonary embolism, however DVT is preventable and if diagnosed early treatable. How DVT forms (leg vein)Veins pass through the deep tissues of the legs there are skin-deep veins located just below the surface of the skin and deep veins which run between muscles. These veins transport blood from the legs and feet back up to the heart. When a thrombosis (blood clot) forms in a superficial vein the condition is known as superficial thrombophlebitis, this is different to DVT and is not as serious. DVT occurs when a thrombus builds up in these deep veins which partly or completely block the bleed of blood through the vein.Many blood clots are so small that our bodies can gradually break them push down returning the rise back to normal. However when a large blood clot occurs It can completely block the flow of blood ca utilize swelling and tenderness (although symptoms ar e not always visible). Blood clots can become extremely dangerous If a part of it breaks off and travels up to the lungs, this is called a pulmonary embolism, it is extremely dangerous and in worst cases can cause death. People At RiskAlmost anyone can contract DVT but there are factors which can significantly change magnitude someones chances of developing the condition, especially if someone has one or more of these pretend factors at the similar time. If going into hospital and the enduring is taking the combined contraceptive pill, using HRT or aspirin than they would be asked to stop taking these, usually 4 weeks for contraceptive pills or HRT and one week for aspirin.
